High Blood Pressure at Applebee's
Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.
Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Blood Pressure
Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Skip all the chicken dishes and seafood at Applebee's except Grilled Chicken Breast and Baked Haddock without sides respectively. You must also skip Brunch Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Triple Bacon Burger, and Whiskey Bacon Burger at Applebee's. High sodium intake can be lethal for a high blood pressure candidate. Avoid ordering foods that contain over 1000mg sodium at Applebee's, especially if you're dining alone.

High Cholesterol at Applebee's
Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.
Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Cholesterol
If you have high cholesterol, then you must avoid eating sandwiches, wraps, and tacos at Applebee's. While the salads and soups sound healthy, you must skip the Fiesta Chopped Salad and Loaded Potato Soup at Applebee's. About Applebee's
Applebee is an American full-service restaurant brand popularly known for its signature Riblets. Applebee was conceptualized in 1980 by Bill and TJ Palmer in Atlanta, Georgia. At first, the restaurant was named T.J. Applebee's RX for Edibles and Elixirs. After the concept was acquired by W.R. Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Later the company and the Applebee's concept changed hands with Abe Gustin and John Hamra who started the first Applebee's franchise restaurant in Kansas City.
Later in 2007, IHOP Corp. now known as DineEquity, Inc. acquired Applebee's and began their journey together to make Applebee's the world's largest full-service restaurant chain. Today, Applebee's serves at more than 1,830 locations worldwide. The Applebee's menu ranges from Appetizers and Salads to heavy meals consisting of ribs and steak. Although the trademark dish Riblets is a hot favorite among regular Applebee's dwellers, the restaurant also serves some amazing burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and salads.

My family and I have been to this location a handful of times and have always enjoyed our food. We like to come when they open on Sundays before the church and football crowds. I have always been pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I have two regular items I order. Sometimes I choose the boneless hot chicken wings, and the other times I order the cheeseburger wrap. I must say the portion of wings is plentiful and always fresh. Hands down favorite is the cheeseburger wrap. It's delicious! I always leaved stuffed afterwards. You get a huge tortilla wrapped around a large beef patty with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and mustard. Sometimes I order a basket of fries to split. My husband loves the wings, and my boys are always pleased with their kid meal baskets. This is a great location to catch the early ESPN highlights and pregame shows while enjoying a cold beer and appetizers too. They have a small tv at every booth so you can choose what you want to watch which is awesome for the kids.

Very poor service. "F" grade. Food was even worse than the poor "service". Whatta rip-off! Been there 3 times. Again, for emphasis, the only thing worse than their poor service, is there bad food!

I dislike giving sub-par reviews but I really feel as if this one is necessary. I arrived with my boyfriend and his parents shortly after 6pm. This location wasn't busy just yet, and we were seated right away. Our server came and we all ordered drinks and an appetizer to share . The appetizer came out quickly but it was another 5 minutes before we saw our server again and were able to order dinner. Our dinner was delivered in a timely fashion by another server (no complaints about that), but it was another few minutes before our server checked in with us. Each time we needed a drink refill we got a drink other than what we ordered initially. For example: I ordered a Coke Zero and my boyfriend ordered a cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper. The whole table got regular Dr. Peppers. The food. I believe everyone else was OK with their meals, but I did not care for the Garlic Parmesan wings. They were way to saucy and just tasted really strange to me. There was no real Parmesan flavor and the garlic was bland. I finished dinner because I was really hungry but I would not order those wings again. At least not with the Garlic Parmesan sauce. I normally order a burger or sandwich and I probably should have stuck to that. I will give this location another shot, eventually, but on this particular day I was very disappointed.

I'd been wanting to try this location after being severely disappointed by the Beef O Bradys in Melbourne. This one in Bayside is way better by far. It's a very nice neighborhood sports bar with plenty of big screen TVs around the bar and booths with TVs at the table which I loved. They have a wide selection of food with lots of choices at a very reasonable price. My friends and I decided to come here on a Monday night when they have their $4.99 burger and fries special. We all enjoyed our burgers immensely. They were a good size and perfectly cooked. We also decided to order a chocolate shake, honey bbq chicken wings, and beignets for dessert. Everything was delicious. Would definitely come back....especially to watch a good game.

A chain sports pub. I usually do not like chain restaurants but this place was ok. The food was on par with other chain places but what is great is that every table has it's own TV to watch whatever game you would like.

I hate to give a restaurant one star as I can usually find at least one reason for a second star... Not so for this establishment. I have been here several times for lunch and have ordered a few different items. I will start with the positive by saying that I have had one good meal here, the mango habanero wings with fries. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing, the fries were warm and the meal was served very promptly. This unfortunately was the only positive experience as the rest of the meals I ordered were subpar at best. The burgers are dry and forget about ordering one that isn't well done. The service is a joke although I'm sure they try. They seem in a hurry to push you out the door and not once I have been offered a dessert or an appetizer or a drink suggestion or usually even a hello. Specials are only special when the food is good and this place is below average at best. I will post a pick of one their" signature dishes" fish basket. This meal was edible but definitely not worth the $10.69...maybe a $6.99 special. Do yourself a favor and let this location just die out, don't go!

Great sports Pub where you can take the family, watch a game, eat some damned good pub style food, and if you like, have a cocktail. This is my favorite Beef's around. They do it right in Bayside.
(4)Mike D.
Food quality is always bad. The Service has just gotta SO much worse! The last time we walked in, we waited 10 min for drinks. Then our server never came back. After 15min we walked out. And while we were leaving they actually said Thank you for coming today. HA! What a joke we didnt buy anything!

Neighborhood sports bar, really laid back the couple times I've been here. Always games or racing on. Food is good, don't waltz in asking for duck with plum sauce but it's pretty good pub food. Bar staff is friendly and not smothering. Serving 2 for 1's majority if the time, they'll even pour you a shot of you ask nicely and mind your manners. Just don't go crazy, I like to sip whiskey straight up with my PBR so they let me slide. ;0)

Not my favorite Beef's. Out of my favorite draft beer. Only two bartenders handling the entire bar AND the restaurant. Should have been better staffed.

Best place for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday in south Palm Bay. Good service, good food and VERY reasonable price.
